MY FAMILY’S PICKLED ONIONS RECIPE I PERFECT TOPPING OR SIDE DISH FOR KETO & LOW CARB RECIPES


It’s here – the long awaited pickled onion recipe. This recipe has been passed down by many generations and it’s something I love eating with tacos, on top of egg skillets, etc.

My Family’s Pickled Onions Recipe: https://youtu.be/Wxz5M-x–ps
3 onions (I used 1 large, and 2 small)
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
4 lemons juiced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt

Directions:
1. Slice your onions thinly, and add these to a large bowl.
2. Then, add your lemon juice from your 4 lemons, apple cider vinegar, oregano and salt.
3. Mix, and taste. At this point, if you need to adjust your salt or add more oregano, do so now.
4. Set aside for 15-20 mins, your onions will be soft and start pickling.
5. For best results, put in the fridge for 2-3 hours, however you can eat them after 20 mins. Enjoy with a cheese shell taco, on top on a skillet, etc!

Nutrition for the whole thing: Calories – 180, Protein – 4g, Fat – 0g, Net Carbs – 38g

**Remember, this is for the entire thing and because onions are sweeter, have this in moderation. This entire batch feeds my family of 4 easily within 2-3 days**

Direcciones:
1. Corta las cebollas en rodajas finas y agrégalas a un tazón grande.
2. Luego, agregue el jugo de limón de sus 4 limones, vinagre de manzana, orégano y sal.
3. Mezclar y probar. En este punto, si necesita ajustar su sal o agregar más orégano, hágalo ahora.
4. Ponga a un lado durante 15-20 minutos, sus cebollas estarán suaves y comenzarán a conservarse en vinagre.
