KETO MEXICAN FLAN (SKINNY)! LESS THAN 100 CALORIES PER SLICE!!!


This “skinny” flan definitely hit the spot for me! It’s not as dense as a traditional flan, but still has all the components (caramel and custard). I love that I can have 2 pieces and not feel guilty about the calories!

Serving Size – 10
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups almond milk
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup pure allulose (this sweetener works best for the caramel and is the closest thing to sure, you can still use any sweetener though)
6 eggs
½ cup sweetener
2 tsp vanilla
Dash of salt

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325F
2. Make your caramel – by adding your allulose to a pan.
3. Pour your caramel in your glass pie
4. Start on your custard! Beat your 6 eggs in a bowl.
5. Add your almond milk, heavy cream, vanilla, salt and sweetener and mix until well combined.
6. Pour custard on top of caramel
7. Bake in a water bath (watch the video for a full step by step) for 50-60 mins until custard is set. It should still be a little bit jiggly.
8. Place on cooling rack for 20 minutes and then transfer to the fridge for 3-4 hours to let it set completely.
9. Take it out of the fridge and using a butter knife, go around the sides to loosen.
10. Flip on plate or serving platter and enjoy!

*PLEASE NOTE* – If you want it to be more dense, use this ratio: 1 cup heavy cream and 2 cups almond milk. If you want it extra dense, use this: 2 cup heavy cream, 1 cup almond milk.

Ingredientes:
2 ½ tazas de leche de almendras
½ taza de crema espesa
½ taza de alulosa pura (este edulcorante funciona mejor para el caramelo y es lo más seguro, aún puede usar cualquier edulcorante)
6 huevos
½ taza de edulcorante
2 cucharaditas de vainilla
Pizca de sal

Direcciones:
1. Precaliente su horno a 325F
2. Prepare su caramelo agregando su alulosa a una sartén.
3. Vierte el caramelo en tu tarta de vidrio
4. ¡Comience con sus natillas! Batir tus 6 huevos en un tazón.
5. Agregue su leche de almendras, crema espesa, vainilla, sal y edulcorante y mezcle hasta que estén bien combinados.
