Red Velvet has always been my favorite cake, and I’m so happy to be able to share this recipe with you today!

Mug Cake Ingredients:
3 tbsp almond flour, packed (make sure you measure this packed and not loose or your cake will be too wet)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp sour cream
1 egg
1 ½ tbsp sweetener (I used granular monkfruit)
1 tsp cocoa powder, unless you LOVE chocolate like me, then add 2 tsp
¼ tsp red coloring optional
½ tsp baking powder
Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla

My Favorite Cocoa Powder:

Cream Cheese Frosting:
2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp butter, softened
1/4 tsp heavy cream
4-5 tsp powdered sweetener
Dash of salt

1) Melt your butter in your mug and add in all of your wet ingredients (sour cream, egg, vanilla extract)
2) Now, mix your dry ingredients together in a bowl (cocoa powder, sweetener, baking powder, almond flour)
3) Add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients in a mug. Mix thoroughly.
4) Add your food coloring and mix thoroughly.
5) Microwave for 60 seconds.
6) Take your cake out and let it cool completely for 5-10 minutes while you make your frosting now.
7) Add all frosting items into a bowl and whip until it reaches a thick whipped cream consistency.
8) Make sure your cake is cool, add frosting on cake and enjoy!

1) Derrite la mantequilla en tu taza y agrega todos tus ingredientes húmedos (crema agria, huevo, extracto de vainilla)
2) Ahora, mezcle sus ingredientes secos en un tazón (cacao en polvo, edulcorante, levadura en polvo, harina de almendras)
3) Agregue sus ingredientes secos a sus ingredientes húmedos en una taza. Mezclar bien
4) Agregue su colorante alimentario y mezcle bien.
5) Microondas durante 60 segundos.
